Master of Science (M.S.)

Speech-Language Pathology Curriculum

The professional master's curriculum is composed of 49 required course credits for the first academic year and 57 required course credits for the second academic year for a total of 106 required quarter credits. Clinical practica are scheduled in the second, third, fourth, and fifth quarters of the curriculum. Advanced practica, or full-time placements in healthcare or educational settings, are secured for the last two quarters of the program. In addition to the required curriculum, students may elect to complete a Capstone (Capstone courses I-III), Thesis (Thesis courses I-IV), or other elective or remedial coursework.* The Capstone Track includes four additional credits (110 total required credits) and the Thesis Track includes five additional credits (111 total required credits).
