Credits 5.0This is a continuation of PATHG 1611. This course identifies causes and mechanisms of disease as they relate to specific organ systems as well as stressing the need for the medical student to understand the pathophysiology of disease and its implications to both the patient and the physician. Emphasis is also placed on the dynamic process of the pathologic progression of changes, adaptive responses, and therapeutic modifications as well as discovering how all these changes produce the ultimate clinical manifestations of disease processes.
