There are 24 weeks of electives during the fourth year. Elective rotations may be done in two or four week blocks. Students may request to do electives in basic science or clinical research. Additionally, if approved, one 4-week elective can be used for an international rotation, or military officer training. All electives must be approved by the appropriate Department Chair.
