APRNG 504: Advanced Health Assessment II

The objective of this course is to provide a foundation for advanced practice nurses to conduct comprehensive assessments. This course reviews complex patient interviews, thorough documentation, holistic and focused assessments, the use of advanced clinical judgment and diagnostic reasoning to discriminate and analyze abnormal clinical findings, formulation of differential diagnoses, and methods to present clinical findings. There is a companion course that requires a mandatory 5-day Campus Residency with live simulations and diagnostic reasoning.
