This course deepens students’ understanding of cultural and structural humility, social determinants of health, and systemic inequities. Students will apply ethical principles—autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice—while examining public health challenges and professional dilemmas. Through active learning, they will strengthen skills for ethical reasoning, reflection, and person-centered decision-making. The course prepares students to deliver equitable, compassionate, and ethical pharmacy care within complex healthcare systems and diverse population contexts.
