Degree Description

Individuals accepted into the Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) program must have completed a minimum of one year of a Midwestern University doctoral-level degree program in osteopathic medicine, dental medicine, podiatric medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, optometric medicine, among others.

Students must complete a minimum of 45 credits, including the listed 6 credits of required online courses, to earn the MAMS degree. Students may transfer up to 39 credit hours from their Midwestern University doctoral-level degree program. Students who have not completed 39 credit hours of doctoral-level courses may take elective courses to fulfill the minimum 45 credit hours.
